Top SchoolBruno Araujo is a Principal Engineer based in São Paulo with over two decades of software development experience and 13 years in senior technical roles, specializing in Linux-based systems, distributed architectures and large-scale data processing. He has led engineering and cloud initiatives across startups and enterprises, notably at AWS where he designed CI/CD, ETL pipelines and operational automation, and at Kanui/Dafiti where he drove e-commerce integrations, message-driven architectures and cost-saving cloud automation. Skilled across AWS, GCP and Azure, Bruno blends hands-on development, systems design and on-call reliability with people leadership—having served as interim CTO, tech lead and manager building squads and aligning cross-functional teams. He’s pragmatic about trade-offs, often favoring decoupled, message-oriented solutions and materialized views for performant data platforms, and has a track record of turning legacy monoliths into horizontally scalable systems. Bruno also pairs technical depth with business acumen (MBA in IT Project Management), enabling him to manage vendor contracts, costs and customer-facing responsibilities alongside engineering delivery.
