Top SchoolBryson Shin is a Senior Software Engineer based in Seattle with nearly two decades of experience architecting and operating large-scale backend systems across e-commerce and consumer electronics. He has driven production services at Amazon and Coupang—building event-driven platforms, real-time recommendation backends, and reliable client SDKs for Cassandra and HBase—while earlier leading multimedia and streaming system designs at Samsung. Comfortable across Java, Node.js/TypeScript, serverless AWS architectures, and distributed storage, he combines hands-on coding with automation of cluster management and data pipelines. Bryson’s background in electronics and advanced CS degrees informs a systems-first approach, and his GitHub tagline, “Think Positively, Think Computationally,” reflects a pragmatic, optimistic engineering mindset that surfaces in both technical leadership and community engagement.
