Senior🎓
Top SchoolBuchi Onuorah is a self-taught full-stack software engineer and architect with a decade of experience designing user-centered web, mobile, and desktop applications from Lagos, Nigeria. He has led technical migrations and architectural rewrites—most notably moving Afritickets from a monolith to a distributed, domain-driven system—while improving performance, test coverage, and developer productivity. At EVERFI and Clipboard Health he combined hands-on engineering with team leadership, building automation and tooling (custom LESS compiler, documentation automation, migration templates) that saved thousands of hours and reduced recurring bugs. Comfortable across frontend frameworks and backend stacks, he favors standardization and automation to free time for deep domain discovery. He also founded Studio Buchanora to deliver client work and train junior talent, blending product ownership with mentoring and hiring. Colleagues describe him as a designer-developer dreamer who turns messy legacy platforms into reliable, maintainable products.
