Top SchoolBuck Heroux is a senior engineering manager with 14 years of experience building data-intensive, product-focused systems across startups and enterprise teams. Currently leading AWS product and data integrations at Datadog, he blends hands-on technical work with organizational leadership to ship scalable cloud-native services. Previously a CTO twice—most notably extracting and replatforming Zagat from Google in three months—he has deep expertise in Kubernetes, real-time systems, and NLP for user-generated content. Early roles at Palantir and Microsoft honed his skills in large-scale streaming and geospatial data, while his Next Big Sound work gave him uncommon domain fluency in processing industry-specific datasets. Based in New York, he’s known for tight product partnerships and a pragmatic approach that turns ambitious visions into reliable, incrementally delivered platforms.
