Senior🎓
Top SchoolBuddy Magsipoc is a seasoned Ruby on Rails engineer with 13 years of experience building backend and full-stack web applications from the Philippines. He has led high-impact government and enterprise projects—most notably driving critical features for the Philippine National Single Window that helped save a PHP 600M program and improve the country's trade ranking. Equally comfortable architecting integrations (TIN, tariff data, payment gateways) and shipping developer-facing tools like on-the-fly report designers, he focuses on clean, maintainable code that simplifies complex workflows. As a long-time freelancer and co-owner of a tech apparel venture, he blends product sensibility with hands-on implementation across Ruby and JavaScript stacks. He’s pragmatic about automation and harmonizing disparate data sources, often turning messy legacy inputs into reliable systems. Based in Pasay with a Computer Engineering background, he quietly contributes to public projects on GitHub while consulting across varied domains.
