Top SchoolBudi Ryan is a Jakarta-based technologist and co-founder with a decade of experience building data-driven financial products and end-to-end software systems. He combines hands-on engineering—from React Native frontends and Golang microservices to AWS DevOps—with applied data science expertise honed at GoTo Financial, where his models materially expanded credit access. As co-founder of Recompound he runs an OJK-licensed investment advisory rooted in long-term, value-oriented principles inspired by Buffett partnerships, uniquely aligning incentives with clients. His prior startup, StockPeek, shipped Indonesia’s first open-portfolio app integrating 70+ brokerages without official APIs, demonstrating creative engineering in constrained environments. Trained in computer engineering and computer science at HKUST and Georgia Tech, he blends rigorous technical foundations with product-minded execution.
