Senior🎓
Top SchoolBurak Ergenc is a senior data engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience designing cloud-native ELT pipelines and scalable data platforms across Google Cloud and AWS. He has delivered measurable business impact—most notably a BigQuery-backed moderation dashboard at Kahoot! that improved internal customer satisfaction—and optimized Airflow workflows and CI/CD at MSC to boost processing speed and reliability. Comfortable coding across stacks, he has built APIs in Kotlin/Quarkus, integrated IoT SiteWise and DynamoDB for time-series use cases, and operationalized ML-focused pipelines earlier in his career at Kaspersky. Based in Houston, he blends practical engineering with a knack for tooling (dbt, dagster, BigQuery, Airflow) to make data more accessible and trustworthy. A lifelong tinkerer—self-described “Artisan” on GitHub—he pairs academic study in computer and computational science with a track record of automation and infrastructure improvements that scale.
