United Kindom
Summary
🤩
RockstarBurak Yucel is a Software Development Engineer II with a decade of experience building cloud-native systems and distributed services, currently contributing to Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink in Seattle. He brings hands-on expertise in microservice architectures, REST APIs, containerized deployments on GCP and AWS, and TypeScript/Node.js from co-founding an agriculture marketplace startup. Burak pairs practical product experience—shipping authentication, messaging, and scalable marketplace features—with solid embedded systems foundations from earlier roles. He has taught as a university TA, demonstrating an ability to explain complex topics and mentor others. Comfortable across the stack, he focuses on pragmatic, secure designs such as JWT with RSA and least-privilege IAM for production services. Colleagues describe him as a builder who prefers shipping reliable systems that run on other people’s computers.
