Top SchoolCait Payne is a Software Engineer II in Denver with eight years of experience building SaaS products and supporting enterprise clients. Her career began in customer success and technical support, where she managed 100+ client relationships and honed a customer-first approach that now informs her full-stack development and system design work. At Human Interest she progressed from Software Engineer I to II, applying cross-functional collaboration, escalation management, and proof-of-concept delivery to bridge product and engineering priorities. Cait excels at translating complex technical concepts into clear documentation, demos, and roadmaps that drive adoption and measurable customer outcomes. Comfortable in both IC engineering roles and customer-facing technical positions, she combines hands-on AWS/API development skills with a knack for prioritizing product features based on real user feedback. An uncommon strength is her track record of turning support escalations into product improvements, reducing friction for non-technical stakeholders while accelerating time-to-value.
