Senior🎓
Top SchoolCallum Dickinson is a DevOps engineer with 11 years’ experience building and automating cloud-native infrastructure and backend systems, currently working at Catalyst Cloud in Wellington. He blends a strong Python background with hands-on AWS deployment and async worker architectures, gained while delivering NLP-backed data processing services in Tokyo. Early work on SDN controllers and VRF overlay networking demonstrates deep networking fundamentals that inform his infrastructure design and automation. Comfortable operating in bilingual (English/Japanese) engineering environments, he has reduced operational risk through automation and reliability-focused tooling. Callum’s trajectory shows a pattern of turning research-grade projects into production systems and applying language learning discipline to steadily expand technical scope. He’s now channeling that blend of curiosity and operational rigor back into New Zealand’s cloud space.
