Top SchoolCameron Testerman is a Principal Backend Engineer with a decade of experience building full-stack systems, from React frontends and Rails APIs to managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters with service meshes. He’s held hands-on roles across SRE, DevOps, and Platform Engineering, helping organizations achieve high availability and regulatory goals such as FedRAMP readiness. At Oddball he led backend work that removed paper-based debt management for veterans, and more recently drove reliability and platform efforts at BetterUp before moving into principal engineering and co-founding PromptlyHired. Entrepreneurially minded and a hobbyist gamedev working in C++/SFML, he blends practical infrastructure expertise with a product-focused, maker’s mentality. Based in Kansas City, he enjoys building ambitious side projects alongside impactful, mission-driven work.
