Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolCameron Thomas is an experienced mobile software engineer and pragmatic engineering leader with nearly three decades in software and five years focused on mobile leadership roles, most recently as Lead Mobile Software Engineer at New Relic. He has managed distributed cross-platform teams and shipped mobile and backend integrations for consumer-facing services like Barclaycard’s Bespoke Offers, combining hands-on development with people leadership. Comfortable across Android, iOS, web and Rails, he brings a practical, incremental approach to architecture and delivery informed by long-term product stewardship. Based in Portland, Oregon, Cameron pairs technical craft with diverse outside interests—Oregon Master Gardener, wet-fly angler, vintage German motorcycle enthusiast and Part 107 certified UAS operator—that reflect a curiosity for systems both natural and mechanical. He favors thoughtful, durable solutions over flashy rewrites and often brings lessons from fieldwork and pilotage into team problem-solving.
