Senior🎓
Top SchoolCan Soykarafakılı is an Engineering Manager and Mobile Platform Lead based in Berlin with over a decade of iOS experience, specializing in ad-tech SDKs, mediation, and performance-critical mobile systems. He moved from hands-on development—co-creating and scaling the HyBid iOS SDK and building mediation/header-bidding adapters—to leading distributed, multicultural teams responsible for revenue-critical SDKs and app integrations. Can combines deep technical ownership (crash debugging, memory/performance optimizations, CI/CD and release automation) with structured people leadership, coaching engineers from L1 to Staff and designing career-transition programs. He’s practiced at aligning product, backend, and business stakeholders to deliver predictable, reliable releases across time zones. Notably, he thrives on engineering close to real-world constraints—latency, edge cases, and Apple policy changes—and has a track record of reducing crash rates and improving SDK stability. His background in electrical and electronics engineering underpins a pragmatic, systems-minded approach to mobile platform architecture and team development.
