Top SchoolCaolan Mckendry is a GameDev consultant and experienced operations leader with a decade in the games and digital marketing space, currently helping studios scale through roles spanning production, business development, and data-driven sales support. As former Operations Director and COO at Ambertail Games he steered the team and hiring for the studio’s debut title Amber Isle while transitioning from community-building into production leadership. He combines empathetic community strategy with analytics to grow healthier player communities and long-tail revenue, now advising and supporting successful indie titles via boutique consultancies and publisher scouting. Caolan also runs the NI Game Dev Network, producing large meetups, jams and the NI Game Awards, and has delivered over 200 hours of STEM workshops to more than 2,100 young people. Equally comfortable in event logistics, studio ops and commercial strategy, he’s built a niche helping hype-stage teams convert attention into sustainable business systems. Based in Belfast, he brings hands-on indie experience plus regional ecosystem leadership that often uncovers under-the-radar talent and opportunities.
