Senior🎓
Top SchoolCarl Nobile is a seasoned software engineer and business owner with decades of hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale web and embedded systems, specializing in Python/Django and RESTful APIs. He has led architecture and implementation efforts across media, enterprise, and security domains—creating high-throughput services such as thumbnail and video syndication platforms and data-exchange systems that handled hundreds of thousands of lines of code. Comfortable as an individual contributor or team lead, Carl pairs deep Linux/open-source expertise with practical skills in system integration, training, and technical management. Though officially retired, he remains open to part-time roles where his blend of legacy systems knowledge and modern web architecture can accelerate projects. Based in Fuquay-Varina, NC, he runs a consulting practice (TetraSys) that focuses on web and RESTful service engineering for clients who value robust, maintainable solutions. An understated strength is his long arc from embedded C and barcode systems to contemporary Django services, giving him rare end-to-end perspective on product lifecycles.
