Senior🎓
Top SchoolCarles Baldó is a veteran technology entrepreneur and CEO-founder of SOLTECSIS with more than 25 years of hands-on experience in system administration and full‑stack development. He built his career from early freelance and carrier roles to creating a company focused on bespoke software and open source solutions, notably releasing FWCloud as a free software project. Technically versatile, he spans Linux sysadmin stacks (mail, virtualization, networking, clustering, Ceph) and development across C/C++, PHP, Node.js, Rust and scripting. Based in the Greater Alicante Area, he combines operational discipline with product instincts—turning critical infrastructure experience into customer-facing applications. Proud of contributing back to the Open Source community, he still draws on a lifelong curiosity for how devices and systems work—a trait that started with a ZX Spectrum. His background in Informática from Universitat d'Alacant underpins a pragmatic, full-spectrum approach to IT and software delivery.
