Top SchoolCarlos Curto is a software engineer based in Madrid specializing in modern C++ systems, robotics, and scalable distributed middleware. With hands-on experience contributing features to Fast DDS—including RPC over DDS, observability tooling, and a WebSocket-based DDS tracker—he bridges low-level systems work with operator-focused tooling in QML and ROS 2 Python. He combines strong mathematical rigor (top-of-class Mathematics degree and a Master’s in AI focused on Recursive Boltzmann Machines) with practical DevOps skills like Docker, GitHub Actions, and cross-platform development. Carlos is particularly interested in making distributed systems efficient and debuggable at scale, and has a knack for translating advanced research concepts into production-ready software.
