Summary
Carlos Óscar Sorzano is a multidisciplinary staff researcher with 24 years of experience applying image processing, statistics and biocomputing to structural, molecular and cell biology, with particular expertise in cryo-electron microscopy and experimental designs that reduce animal use. A permanent scientist at CSIC, he co-leads the Biocomputing Unit and directs the Instruct Image Processing Center while also co-founding Kinestat Pharma to bridge statistical design and drug development.
