Top SchoolCarlos Robles is a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft who specializes in SQL developer experiences, AI-powered tooling, and developer productivity, drawing on a 16+ year journey from software engineer and DBA to solutions architect and product leader. He has led database and migration products at Microsoft and AWS, blending deep database expertise with cloud-native and DevOps sensibilities to help teams move from idea to running code faster. Recognized as a Microsoft MVP and a Redgate 100 honoree, Carlos pairs community-focused advocacy—speaking, mentoring, and open-source contributions—with hands-on product execution. Based in Denver, he brings a rare combination of technical credibility (DBA, solutions architecture) and product strategy for developer-facing platforms like VS Code and GitHub Copilot. Outside work he channels his curiosity into experimenting with new developer tools and nurturing the next generation of engineers, all while balancing life as a dedicated gamer and father.
