Carlos Santisteban is an experienced IT teacher and retrocomputing enthusiast with over a decade of hands-on experience educating students at IES Turaniana. Based in Almería, he blends formal Informatics training from Universidad de Granada with practical electronics and vintage-computing projects, notably as creator and father of the Durango-X retrocomputer. An active member of HackLab Almería and La Jaquería, he brings a maker’s mindset to classroom instruction, mentoring students in hardware tinkering as well as software fundamentals. His long teaching tenure reflects strong curriculum development and a talent for translating complex technical concepts into accessible learning experiences.
