Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolCasper Bang is a pragmatic senior system developer with 13+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining full-stack software, currently focused on transit and enterprise systems at DSB. He combines a strong engineering foundation from Aalborg University with a long history of Java and Android development, including authoring and maintaining the Rejsekortscanner app through his one‑person consultancy BangBits. Passionate about open source and the software construction lifecycle, he emphasizes pragmatic, bottom-up KISS design and test-driven quality over top-down complexity. Comfortable across requirements, architecture, and verification, he prefers agile collaboration and practical solutions that balance flexibility with simplicity. Colleagues describe him as analytical, tinkering, and opinionated about clean, maintainable systems—traits reflected in a decade-plus of production mobile and telemetry projects.
