Senior🎓
Top SchoolCathy Liu is a seasoned technical recruitment consultant with 8+ years helping mid-to-senior engineering talent break career plateaus across iOS, Android, Java, Go, Python, frontend, algorithms, big data and multimedia domains. Based in Hong Kong and active across Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Silicon Valley and other global tech hubs, she partners with unicorns, VCs and major platforms like Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance and Meituan to place leadership and hard-to-fill specialist roles. Her background combines hands-on analyst experience at a leading Asia executive search firm with years as a tech-focused recruiter at GiTalent, giving her uncommon empathy for engineers’ motivations and career planning. Cathy publishes industry insights on Zhihu and maintains an open pipeline via GitHub and social channels, reflecting a data-informed, network-driven approach to talent discovery. She’s known for moving beyond resumes to map candidate trajectories to strategic hiring needs, often unlocking roles at the CTO/architect and senior R&D director level.
