Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolCédric Sam is an interactive graphic journalist with 15 years of experience turning complex data into clear, engaging visual stories for newsrooms at Bloomberg, South China Morning Post and La Presse. Trained in computer science, biochemistry and interaction design, he blends heavy coding (scraping, databases, D3.js) with thoughtful storyboarding and design to deliver multimedia packages and investigative visualizations. He has led newsroom data projects across Hong Kong and New York, built research-grade social media mining tools like WeiboScope, and helped redesign research publication platforms. Colleagues rely on him as a bridge between reporters, designers and engineers—equally at home prototyping interactive graphics as writing the backend to power them.
