Summary
👤
SeniorChandan Chainani is a polyglot back-end developer with 8 years of experience building data-driven systems and web services, now working at IBM. Comfortable across languages from PHP and Java to Go, Scala, Erlang and Elixir, he pairs pragmatic engineering (Flask, Rails, Laravel) with strong database and Linux toolchain skills. His background spans data engineering and analytics roles as well as senior software positions, giving him a practical lens on both pipelines and production services. A self-taught programmer since age 15, he’s an active open-source contributor and enjoys optimizing workflows with Neovim, Zsh and tmux—tools he treats as productivity extensions rather than mere editors. Fast-learning and highly self-motivated, he is currently expanding his cloud expertise with Azure while continuing to ship reliable back-end solutions.
