Top SchoolChang Chen is a Strategy Director at Baidu with 12 years of cross‑industry experience spanning internet, finance, and consulting, specializing in strategic planning, business model optimisation, and generative AI industry research. He combines deep quantitative expertise—risk modelling, FRTB, CVA/XVA, and valuation—from senior roles at Deloitte, KPMG and global banks with hands‑on technical experience in Murex, SQL, UNIX and risk systems. Known for bridging front‑office trading operations and board‑level strategy, he has led JV operations and digital transformation initiatives that translate complex risk frameworks into actionable commercial outcomes. Chang’s background in both product‑level support and high‑stakes advisory work gives him a rare fluency in model validation and operationalising models within production systems. Fluent in navigating regulatory regimes (Basel II/III, BCBS239, IOSCO/BMR), he’s equally comfortable advising C‑suite stakeholders and mentoring delivery teams. Based in Beijing and holding an MSc in Finance from Imperial College, he often leverages his consulting discipline to spot practical, revenue‑focused opportunities from technical analyses.
