Senior🎓
Top SchoolCharles Sistovaris is a seasoned Ruby on Rails developer with over 17 years of professional experience building and maintaining complex web applications from image banks to multilingual CMS and event platforms. Based in Paris, he combines backend expertise (PostgreSQL full‑text search, SPARQL/RDF extraction, payment integrations) with practical front‑end work (AngularJS elements, geolocation, structured data) and custom gems like a homegrown search tool. His projects show a knack for messy-data recovery and real‑world features—Excel import sanitation, perceptual image hashing, OpenCV face detection prototypes, and API integrations with Amazon, YouTube and Mailchimp. Comfortable across the stack and product lifecycle, he pairs formal mathematical training with long-term product ownership at companies including Roy Export, Mooncard and Moodwork.
