Senior🎓
Top SchoolChase Pettet is a Principal Security Engineer with 13+ years of experience building secure, compliant cloud and product platforms for high‑traffic and highly regulated organizations. He blends hands‑on engineering, risk‑informed decision making, and automation to enable business outcomes while reducing friction for product teams. Chase has led product security and DevSecOps transformations—from founding a PAS team to driving SaaS growth and managing FDA SaMD security—across companies like Wikimedia, Mirantis, Archer, Illumina, and Life360. Comfortable as both IC and manager, he leverages managerial perspective to mentor engineers and create repeatable security practices (threat modeling, ASPM/CSPM, SAST/DAST) that scale. A lifelong builder who still likes to tinker in the workshop, he lives in rural Missouri with his family and prefers quiet, value‑focused collaboration over performative security.
