Top SchoolChase Sawyer is a Senior Computer Specialist in Seattle with nine years of hands-on experience building BI workflows, web applications, and database systems for the University of Washington. He architects and implements full-stack solutions—Node/Express or Python/Django backends with PostgreSQL/SQL Server, REST/GraphQL APIs and React frontends—while leading devops-style deployments and vendor integrations. Beyond software, he blends IT service management, Tier 3 support, and networked AV expertise to keep over 500 classroom and staff machines running and to deliver real-time institutional reporting from sources like ServiceNow. He’s developed open-source projects including an RFID-based access control system that combines CAD-designed 3D printed parts with embedded hardware, showing a tactile maker background alongside his software skills. Known for meticulous communication and tenacity, he turns complex operational needs into auditable, consumable metrics and tools used by senior management. A freeCodeCamp-trained API/microservices developer with a BFA in 3D4M, he brings an uncommon mix of creative design thinking and pragmatic systems engineering.
