Top SchoolChieh-i Chen is a software engineer with 11 years of experience specializing in software-hardware integration and turning R&D prototypes into regulated, production-ready products. He has led full-stack and embedded projects across medical Class II devices, AR/VR analysis tools, and IoT systems, emphasizing scalability, usability, and robust testing (IEC-62304, FDA workflows). Proficient in Python, Qt/QML, C/C++, computer vision, and cloud data integrations, he combines algorithm optimization (multi-threading, parallelism) with DevOps practices to accelerate performance and delivery. As an independent consultant he owns projects end-to-end—from design and CV/LLM pipelines to deployment and Snowflake/Postgres integration—while at Meta and startups he drove architecture and CI/CD improvements that materially boosted throughput. Based in San Diego, he pairs hands-on engineering with documentation and regulatory experience, often translating complex signal-processing research into manufacturable software products.
