Top SchoolChien-ku Chen is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience designing and shipping resilient, high-throughput systems across fintech, cloud security, and consumer platforms. He has driven large-scale data and migration projects—most notably validating 13.5 billion rows during a 4TB DB migration—and improved operational reliability with monitoring, CI/CD hardening, and runtime validation that prevented production incidents. Skilled in Scala, Java, Go, Python and functional programming, he repeatedly introduced FP practices and tooling (ZIO, Scala Steward) to boost code quality and team velocity. At Binance he cut churn and complaints through data-driven VIP features and dashboards, and at Netskope he eliminated performance bottlenecks by rewriting critical services in Go. He pairs hands-on engineering with cross-functional leadership as a SCRUM master and mentor, and enjoys tackling messy legacy systems to deliver measurable business impact.
