Senior🎓
Top SchoolChris Bonser is a seasoned engineering leader with 11 years of software experience and a track record of bootstrapping products for startups and delivering multimillion-dollar projects inside Fortune 500 companies. Based in Austin, he combines hands-on engineering (Ruby on Rails, Ember, embedded C) with people leadership—hiring, building career ladders, and scaling teams as a VP and Senior Manager. He has repeatedly solved hard system problems, from offline-capable persistence and near-real-time data sync for mobile clients to low-level hardware/firmware integration at AMD. As a co-founder and consultant he helps early-stage teams ship ambitious applications quickly using opinionated open-source stacks, while maintaining strong operational and performance focus (<100ms API targets previously). Colleagues describe him as equally comfortable in detailed technical trenches or shaping product and company strategy.
