Chris Brett is a Chief Technology & Product Officer and founder with over a decade of hands-on experience building simulation-driven automation for physical operations. He invented and engineered Ocado’s swarm-robotics storage and retrieval system and built the simulation framework used to prove and optimise it, then applied that expertise to clients including Deliveroo and Apian. As a leader he blends deep modelling, digital-twin and systems-architecture skills with product thinking, moving teams from prototype simulation to production deployment. He has founded and led engineering teams at startups and consultancies, translating complex operational constraints into performant, testable software. Outside of work he prototypes mechanical and electronic solutions via 3D printing, laser cutting and woodworking—bringing a maker’s pragmatism to large-scale logistics problems.
