Top SchoolChris Greeff is a founder and director based in Auckland with 11 years of hands-on experience building fast, product-focused full-stack software for startups and solo founders. He founded Avokodo to help early-stage teams design, ship, and scale MVPs quickly, drawing on a track record as a founding engineer and engineering lead across companies like Xero, Vend, Paloma, and CoachMate. Chris blends architecture, frontend and backend development, hosting, and UX with a pragmatic emphasis on shipping meaningful products and embedding engineering best practices from day one. He’s comfortable scaling both systems and teams, moving between rapid prototyping and longer-term technical leadership roles. Beyond consultancy he continues to launch ventures and consult—evident in recent roles from technical lead to co-founder—bringing entrepreneurial instincts to technical decisions. An engineer who values speed and clarity, he often surfaces long-term maintainability while optimising for early market traction.
