Top SchoolChris Heuer is a Senior Software Developer with 11 years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications and integrations using PHP and Python. Based in Saratoga Springs, Utah, he has led engineering efforts at companies like Descartes Systems Group, Entrata, Journeyfront, and Ancestry, ranging from enterprise invoicing systems to calendar and job-posting integrations. He combines backend expertise in Django and legacy PHP with front-end work in Vue, and has repeatedly improved developer productivity by refactoring large codebases and enabling migration tooling. At Entrata he was the technical lead for an invoicing system that processed tens of thousands of invoices monthly, and at Journeyfront he built complex third-party integrations (Cronofy, JobTarget) end-to-end. Known for pragmatic problem-solving, he also brings a history of cross-team coordination, internal tooling and reporting work that accelerates business ops beyond pure feature development.
