Top SchoolChris Marcok is a pragmatic software engineer with nine years of experience building web-facing systems and working with databases, currently an SDE2 at Amazon's Bellevue office after internal progression from SDE1 roles in Toronto. A University of Toronto CS graduate, he blends strong academic foundations with hands-on experience from internships at Oracle and early roles at Ontario Power Generation and Amazon, plus a TA position that underscores his ability to communicate complex concepts. He has a track record of shipping reliable code in large-scale environments and navigating cross-border teams between Canada and the US. Colleagues would describe him as a steady implementer who levels up through focused iteration and practical design rather than flashy rewrites.
