Top SchoolChris Sweigard is a founder and seasoned engineering leader with 12 years of experience building production web and mobile products across startups and enterprise teams. He’s shipped diverse platforms—from a social recommendation engine and a craft-beer marketplace to secure BYOD workspaces and prepaid card processing—while leading cross-functional teams in release engineering, QA, and integrations. Technically hands-on across Java, JavaScript, Play2, Node.js, React Native, mobile frameworks and PostgreSQL, he blends full-stack development with operational rigor. Chris mentors engineers and has repeatedly rebuilt and modernized products (most recently rewriting BeerXchange’s mobile apps and backend), showing a pragmatic focus on maintainability and shipping. Based in New York, he’s exploring ways to leverage generative AI like ChatGPT to boost product value and developer productivity.
