Top SchoolChris Wood is a Principal Architect and open finance specialist with over a decade of hands-on experience designing APIs, security architectures, and market-grade open banking frameworks. Currently leading the UAE Open Finance Framework at Ozone API and advising the World Bank on standards across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, he blends practical implementation experience from HSBC and Visa with standards authorship at OBIE. His expertise spans OAuth2/OpenID Connect, FAPI, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and ISO 20022, with a track record of making standards usable in live markets rather than just theoretical designs. Chris pairs technical rigor with a delivery mindset—favoring insight, creativity and cost-effective solutions that “just work” in production. He also contributes to the API community as Content Director for the OpenAPI Initiative and a long-standing writer for Nordic APIs, bringing both thought leadership and pragmatic tooling experience. Based in High Wycombe, he is known for turning complex regulatory requirements into developer-friendly APIs and governance that scale.
