Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolChristian Buggedei is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with roughly two decades of experience bridging deep technical know-how and organizational strategy across product, operations, and executive roles. He excels at translating between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders, having led product and IT transformations at companies like TVSMILES, polypoly, and VR Smart Guide and now steering digital health initiatives at the European Health Data Alliance. A founder of Darcy, he is building a decentralized, privacy-focused civic platform that reflects his long-standing interest in safer, user-centered online spaces. Christian is pragmatic about technology choices (notably skeptical of blockchain) and focused on practical value: invoicing, accounting, and data governance that actually help SMEs and health organizations run better. He combines hands-on systems administration roots with board-level leadership and a talent for turning geek expertise into accessible, trustable products. Based in Hamburg, he brings a rare mix of operational rigor, product empathy, and conviction-driven entrepreneurship.
