Christian Fischer is a seasoned GIS and spatial data expert with four decades in the software industry, currently a Partner at Septima, where he leads projects in geographical information systems, data modeling and spatial databases. He is widely recognized as a leading authority on the Danish national address system and has driven numerous Danish and European address, cadastral and registry initiatives to improve address quality and interoperability. His technical toolkit spans Postgres/PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, Oracle and OGC/INSPIRE standards, and he has overseen distribution and use of major Danish datasets such as BBR, ESR, the cadastral register and CVR.
