Christian Winther is a seasoned software engineer and infrastructure leader with 17 years of experience building and operating large-scale backend systems, SRE platforms, and developer tooling. He has deep hands-on expertise in AWS, Docker, Nomad, Consul, Vault, Go, Node and the full spectrum of mission-critical services like MySQL/Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ. At SeatGeek and Bownty he designed and rebuilt containerized, multi-region infrastructures that scaled from hundreds to thousands of instances and supported high-throughput messaging and email delivery. An active HashiCorp community contributor and two-time Nomad community leader, he publishes OSS tools that bridge operational gaps and has contributed reliability improvements to well-known projects like Atlantis and Nomad. More than a technologist, he has held CTO and engineering manager roles, blending strategic decision-making, hiring and organizational scaling with hands-on platform work. Currently based in Copenhagen, he’s been quietly building MangaBaka as a SvelteKit/TypeScript side project that demonstrates his curiosity for new stacks and data-driven product thinking.
