Top SchoolChristoph Weidling is a seasoned cloud architecture and development leader with over 8 years of experience and a two-decade-plus technical foundation from roles dating back to developer and consultant positions. As Senior Director Cloud Architecture and Development at DocuWare, he shapes scalable cloud strategies and drives engineering teams from his base in Bavaria, Germany. He pairs a PhD in computer science from Technische Universität Ilmenau with hands-on product experience from Altova and sd&m, giving him both deep theoretical grounding and practical delivery skills. Known for bridging research-level rigor with pragmatic cloud engineering, he focuses on reliable, enterprise-grade document and workflow systems. While not a high-profile open-source hub on GitHub, his long-term commitment to a single product organization highlights a talent for sustained, system-level evolution rather than short-term projects.
