👤
SeniorChristophe Cassagnabère is an expert software engineer and technical leader with 11 years of professional experience and a PhD in computer science, now based in Lausanne. He has led engineering teams and product-critical technical efforts across startups and scaleups—most recently as Expert at ELCA Group after four years as Software Engineering Team Lead at Evooq and a CTO role at Virtual Regatta. His hands-on background spans data engineering, machine learning, backend systems and cloud-native operations, with practical experience in Python, Spark, Kafka, Go, Docker and AWS. Christophe combines research rigor from his academic career with pragmatic leadership, having shipped data-driven systems at Sqreen and Zenly and overseen R&D teams earlier in his career. Colleagues describe him as an enthusiastic problem-solver who moves fluidly between strategic design and low-level implementation. He also brings an uncommon blend of production-grade data engineering and long-term academic research perspective to system architecture and team mentorship.
