Christopher Dyken is a Principal Engineer based in Oslo with 13 years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for 3D graphics that began on the Amiga in 1991. He leads development of Kongsberg Digital’s in-house COGS rendering engine, specializing in CAD geometry import, CPU and GPU profiling, WebXR integration, and point cloud visualization. His PhD in computational mathematics underpins a rigorous approach to geometry, bit-level optimization and shader generation, and he’s implemented terrain adaptor rewrites and ML model transformation tooling. Colleagues rely on him to turn complex rendering challenges into performant, production-ready systems. Outside work he’s an Amiga nostalgic and hands-on tinkerer who brings that hacker mentality to pragmatic engineering and system-level optimization.
