Top SchoolChristopher Maggiulli is a seasoned engineering and product leader with over a decade of experience building cloud-native student information systems and enterprise integrations, currently directing software product development for Columbia University's SIS and Application Services. He blends hands-on technical work—authoring and reviewing Django/Python code, designing AWS architectures, and owning DB and release automation—with leadership of a 30-person remote-first organization. His background spans build & release engineering, observability, container orchestration, and a wide toolset from Java and Python to Oracle SOA, Mule, and Terraform, enabling reliable deployments across complex hybrid environments. Christopher’s career includes architecting FERPA-compliant RBAC/GBAC systems, large-scale message replication using SQS/SNS, and migrating legacy pipelines to modern CI/CD, plus a long-standing hobbyist engagement in open source, security research, and bug bounties that keeps his technical curiosity sharp.
