Top SchoolChristopher Sims is an AI Deployment Engineer with 11 years of experience, currently building safety-focused large language models for healthcare at Hippocratic AI in Palo Alto. He brings rigorous mathematical foundations from a Bachelor's in Applied & Computational Mathematics at USC to applied ML work, translating theory into production-ready, patient-centered AI. Previously he conducted autonomous vehicle behavioral planning research at USC Viterbi, bridging control theory and learning-based decision systems. Christopher combines academic depth with hands-on deployment experience, emphasizing responsible model behavior in high-stakes domains. Based in Silicon Valley, he is driven by making medical knowledge more accessible to clinicians while managing real-world safety and usability constraints. An under-the-radar strength is his ability to navigate both research environments and fast-moving startup product cycles, ensuring models are both principled and practical.
