Top SchoolChristopher Yocum is a seasoned System Engineer and DevOps specialist with 15 years of experience building and maintaining high-availability infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments. He has led production incident response and observability efforts, architected containerization and CI/CD pipelines, and driven lift-and-shift migrations to AWS while mentoring teams through operational change. As founder of CLY Consulting and a current System Engineer at Iron Mountain, he blends hands-on automation (Puppet, Chef, Foreman) with pragmatic system administration and monitoring (ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB). His background includes deep familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, XenServer) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), enabling reliable service delivery across heterogeneous stacks. Colleagues rely on his clear technical documentation and calm troubleshooting under pressure, and he routinely turns complex cross-team projects into repeatable, auditable processes. Notably, he pairs enterprise-grade reliability work with a founder’s drive to streamline operations and deliver measurable efficiency gains.
