Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolChuan Miao is a Cloud Native Engineer with 12 years of experience applying high-performance computing and GPU-accelerated techniques to production infrastructure and scientific research. Currently at SAP, he specializes in cloud-native storage and Kubernetes-driven DevOps while earlier contributing to SAP's data migration platforms and enterprise database integrations. His background includes postdoctoral and research roles where he led Monte Carlo simulations and migrated computational nuclear physics workloads to heterogeneous CPU/GPU clusters. He blends deep scientific rigor—from a PhD in high energy physics—with practical skills in real-time signal/image processing, time-series data management, and web-based visualization. Comfortable across stacks (CUDA, Kubernetes, React/GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL), he is equally at home tuning parallel algorithms or hardening cloud file services. A physicist’s precision informs his engineering: he thinks in constants—both the fine-structure kind and the invariant reliability of production systems.
