Top SchoolChun Zheng is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building cloud-native backends and automation tooling, currently at Sonic Automotive. A Pythonista by trade, he has delivered production services using AWS (ECS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk), Docker, Terraform and Ansible across finance, defense, and enterprise SaaS environments. His background spans full lifecycle work—from SDET automation and Hadoop operations at Oracle to data-driven Python services and infrastructure-as-code at Ntrepid and Capital One. Chun balances pragmatic engineering with tooling: he favors Poetry-based Python project management and automated testing to keep deployments repeatable and auditable. Based in Apex, North Carolina, he brings a blend of hands-on coding and operational rigor that reduces toil and speeds reliable delivery. Colleagues describe him as an engineer who quietly turns complex systems into predictable, well-instrumented platforms.
