Top SchoolClaire Chabas is a frontend-leaning full stack product engineer with nine years of experience building user-focused web products and design systems. Currently at GitBook, she combines hands-on engineering with product sensibility, previously shaping seller and acquisition features at unicorn Back Market and leading product and front-end efforts at Posos. She has a strong accessibility and developer-experience mindset—having driven Back Market’s homepage A11Y score from 81 to 100 and contributed to a company-wide Vue + TypeScript design system. Claire also writes about tech on Medium and teaches, having created Node.js and web development courses, which reflects her talent for translating complex topics into clear guidance. Her background spans startup founding, large platform sales at Google, and technical leadership, giving her an unusual mix of product strategy, user research, and execution. Based in London, she’s an “all time web wanderer” who balances pragmatic engineering with thoughtful writing and mentorship.
