Claire Lee is a UC Berkeley Urban Studies major and Russian minor driven to address housing challenges through public service and practical design. Having lived in 10+ countries by age 18, she brings a global perspective to how cities shape daily life and policy. At Berkeley and in Piedmont city government she has translated planning concepts into user-friendly materials—guides on ADUs and SB9 and GIS visuals—to help homeowners and municipal stakeholders navigate housing options. She chairs the Berkeley Language Center Undergraduate Advisory Council, launching and leading student-focused programming while supporting Slavic collection curation at the library. A FLAS recipient who pursued advanced Russian immersion at Middlebury, she blends language fluency with urban planning work to engage diverse communities. Claire aims to move into real estate development that prioritizes affordable, mixed-use, and cost-effective construction solutions.
